Privacy Policy
1. Scope and roles
This Policy applies to information processed by EvoCoat. If your employer, store, distributor, or another organization provides your account, that organization may separately control information it enters, manages, exports, or deletes. Contact that organization for its own privacy practices.
2. Information we collect

3. Sources
We collect information directly from users, from administrators who create or manage accounts, automatically from the application or server when you connect, and from service providers that help us operate communications, hosting, security, or updates.
4. How we use information
- provide, personalize, maintain, synchronize, back up, and support EvoCoat;
- authenticate users, bind devices, manage subscriptions, and prevent unauthorized access;
- process formula searches, saved formulas, collections, messages, labels, and settings;
- deliver reference-data, security, compatibility, and application updates;
- diagnose errors, monitor reliability, investigate abuse, and protect users and systems;
- respond to demo, support, privacy, and legal requests;
- comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. Offline operation and synchronization
Some account, license, reference, and formula data is stored locally so EvoCoat can operate when a device is offline. When connectivity returns, pending My Formula changes and other supported data may automatically synchronize with EvoCoat servers. Local data may remain on the device until it is deleted through the application, removed with application data, or otherwise cleared by the device owner.
6. Disclosure
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
- hosting, infrastructure, email, update-distribution, security, and support providers acting for us;
- your organization’s authorized administrators;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or transaction advisers under appropriate obligations;
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security;
- a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer, subject to applicable law.
EvoCoat does not sell personal information for money and does not use desktop-app information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Retention
We keep account and service information while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, support, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. User Content is generally retained until it is deleted by an authorized user or the associated account is deleted. Security and technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their operational or legal purpose. Residual copies may remain in encrypted or access-controlled backups until overwritten through the ordinary backup cycle.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access controls, authenticated licenses, encrypted transport, restricted administrative functions, and protected storage where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their credentials, devices, local backups, and exported information.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about processing, and to appeal a denied privacy request. You may also update certain store fields or delete My Formula records through the application. An authorized administrator can manage or delete an account.
Submit a request through www.evocoats.com/#contact. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Applicable law may permit or require us to retain certain information.
10. Children
EvoCoat is a professional automotive-refinishing product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
11. International and interstate processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different privacy laws. We use contractual and operational protections as appropriate.
12. Changes
We may revise this Policy as EvoCoat, our practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date and legal version identify the current Policy. Material changes may be communicated in the application or require renewed acceptance.
